One month.

By this time next month, my favourite friend, Olivia, will be leaving the city. As the weeks go on, she will have less and less time to hang out.

This sounds so awfully crass to me, but it appears that this is the time I get to do two things:

  1. Be more comfortable with myself, and specifically, solo plans.
  2. Invest in other people I’ve met on The Apps with quite a bit more initiative — without expecting anything to happen.
Some baristas are cute.

Today, though, is a Monday. In half an hour or so, I will be jumping on my team’s weekly catch-up call. I no longer look forward to these. Get me out of here. Where here is I have no idea.

On the way back home today after breakfast in the park, a shell of a leaf fell on the shell of my shell (I’m a tortoise who drives a car, and it’s autumn).
